Mad DogÂ?s Source for Sports is proud to be the official sporting goods supplier of the worldÂ?s largest Softball event, Canada Cup 2002 International SoftballTournament. This world class womenÂ?s fastpitch tournament brings teams from over 15 countries to Softball City in Surrey, BC. Canada Cup is expecting an outstanding gate attendance this year of over 250,000 people from around the world.
Returning for itÂ?s sixth year is the Special Olympics friendship division. The Special Olympics is an incredible community based program providing sports training and competition for individuals with mental disability.This amazing program is run primarily through volunteer efforts, giving these athletes the opportunity to compete year round.
New this year is the first ever world elite level Canada Cup International Fastpitch Futures Tournament presented by Mad DogÂ?s Source for Sports. Over 36 teams, of girls aged 17-19, are registered for this event. This will be an incredible new division to Canada Cup giving young athleteÂ?s more opportunities to develop their skills to rise to the top ranks of international softball. Canada Cup International Fastpitch Futures Tournament world junior presented by Mad DogÂ?s Source for Sports will be an event to remember.
